Admissions

Apply

We are honored by your interest in SCS and know that partnering with a school for your child’s education is an important decision. Please know that our admissions team is available to answer any questions you may have. Below are the steps you can expect in our admissions process.

Current SCS families: Please log in to your mySCS account and select Sibling Application under Resources.

List of 7 items.

  • Step 1: Let's Connect

We love sharing the SCS story and introducing families to our school.  Complete an online inquiry, give us a call at 864-234-7595, or email our Admissions Coordinators, Abby Watson (7th-12th), Kristal Kuhlen (1st-6th grade) and Caitlyn Reeves (Pre-K 2-Kindergarten)

We look forward to walking alongside you through the admissions process!
  • Step 2: Access Your Child's Online Admissions Checklist

Once you have connected with the admissions team, you will be emailed an invitation to access your child's online admissions checklist, from which you can schedule a tour, register for an Open House, submit an application, and track your student's progress through each step of the application process.
  • Step 3: Submit an Application

    • Submit a new student application with a $50 non-refundable application fee (Pre-K 2 - Pre-K 5) or a $100 non-refundable application fee (Kindergarten - 12th grade)
    • A $50 application fee applies to all current family new sibling applications regardless of the grade level
  • Step 4: Student Records

It is our pleasure to request required records from your child’s current school. Please be aware that the fulfillment of this request may take as long as two weeks. You may also choose to provide the documents directly to us by submitting records to Tina Davis, Admissions Support. Please see below for a list of required documents.
  • Step 5: Application Review

After all documents are received, the Executive Director of Enrollment and principals will review the application. At this time, support services may also be consulted, including Student Success Services and the Guidance Department, to ensure that a structure is in place to support the academic success of your child.
  • Step 6: Partnership Conference

The final step in the application process is a partnership conference. After a review of your child’s application and supplemental documents, the principal or a member of their leadership team will meet with your family to explore admission and address any remaining questions you may have.
  • Step 7: Enrollment Decision

If all admissions requirements are met, the enrollment department will notify you that your child has been accepted. Payment of the enrollment fee is required before your child is officially enrolled.

If there are no spaces currently available in your child's grade, you will be given an opportunity to keep your application active in the wait pool.

*Final records will be requested for all newly enrolled students and must align with SCS Admission Policy and the Student and Family Handbook.
